Timing has been great for a broken riser. There is a broken riser on 12920 S. We have shut that line down for a few days. It should be back up soon. The good news is no one should be in need of water with all the rain that we have been receiving. We have finished the blow lines at the end of 12974 S. This will improve the pressure for the entire system as we will be blowing all of the lines two times a year now.
Once again this irrigation association is made up of 120 homes. Everyone is an owner of the water. It is 100% volunteer. We do this and help keep the water running because we know it is a wonderful deal. Ask your friends and family in Riverton that are not on the system how much they have to pay and you will be amazed at the great deal we have here. With that being said, it is all of our jobs to help keep the water flowing. If you have a problem, try and fix it. If you do not have the knowledge or skills to do so ask a neighbor. If you need the water temporally shut down please contact the block captain that lives closest to you.
Thanks again for all of those volunteers that have helped thus far.
