As most of you have noticed there is water in the canal. This means that there will be water in our lines soon! If you would please prepare for this by making sure that your main valve is turned off. This will help when we turn the water on to ensure that we do not have any breaks or leaks in the system. Once the water is on, feel free to turn on your systems to test for leaks and breaks. Each year at the beginning of watering season there are several houses that have issues to kink out. We understand that there will be times that we need to turn off the water for repairs. Please be patient with these times.
Before the water is turned on this year we need to repair a cleaning/blow out station at the end of 12974 S. (East end, Hendersons yard). By doing this we all should have more pressure. This work is done on a volunteer basis and we are looking help. This work will start April 23rd and hopefully end the next day the 24th. If you are able to help please contact Jeff Dahle at 801-254-1838 home or 801-231-4367 cell for times and more information. Once this is complete we should be able to have water flowing.
As an FYI during heavy rainstorms we will periodically be turning off the pumps. On average it costs us $20 a day to run the pumps. These days that we can turn the pumps off will reflect savings to you in the long run. We appreciate your patience in this. We look forward to a great summer and watering season! If you have any questions or concerns feel free to call a member of the board or your block captain.
Thanks
MGIA
